Uniform interior finish EDGE Stadium
In recent years, work has been done on the expansion and sustainability of an impressive building in Amsterdam: EDGE Stadium. Wiggers' co-creators were asked to help think about the interior finishing. We took this on with great enthusiasm. In close consultation with the architect and the client, G&S Bouw, we have created beautiful customised products that perfectly match the design, interior and the requirements of today. And the result is impressive!
Challenging products
We have supplied all products with European oak veneer, for a beautiful uniform look. The north façade of the building is fitted with interior window frames. Our profiles can be seen on the wall covering on the east and west façades. The biggest challenge in this project was covering the twelve 23-metre-high columns in the atrium. A great challenge that we took on from start to finish, including installation.

We're proud of the result, but also of the pleasant collaboration with the architect and client. Kees Zwanenburg, project leader G&S Bouw: We asked Wiggers to supply and also install materials. The EDGE Stadium has a green appearance because of all the wood they used. It is now being decorated with all kinds of plants and greenery to emphasise this even more. It's a beautiful building that simply exudes quality."
