Obviously, everyone - young and old – needs to exercise to stay healthy. Yet sometimes that is a challenge! Did you know, for example, that 80% of young children do not exercise enough?* While movement in the first years of life is essential for the development of children. That is why Springlab has developed an interactive exercise floor that allows children to work on their development in a mobile way. Exercise games are projected on the floor. The aim? Getting children at schools and daycare centres to exercise in a fun and playful way!

No linear metres this time

What does a mobile Springlab Exercise Floor have to do with Wiggers? It's like this. Partner Cimar Electronics produces, programs and tests the complete unit. But of course electronics alone do not make a mobile cart. That's why we helped with the design and made a beautiful plywood body on the CNC machine. It's fun to work with 'square metres' instead of 'linear metres' for once! Quite a challenge, because the contours of the casing are complex and require a special drilling pattern. After a number of tests, we succeeded in 3D milling a number of beautiful plywood panels on one of our most modern CNC machines. The result? A mobile Springlab Exercise Floor with a beautiful Prototype multiplex body. Ready to be tested by the children!
