Efficiency with ready-made solutions
Den Bosch is home to Ortduynen: a residential complex that offers space for 99 one-bedroom apartments for the elderly. Built in 1973, the complex no longer met today's sustainability requirements. A nice job for Caspar de Haan, maintenance & renovation. A sustainability process is nothing new to them. Carrying out major renovation work while all residents continue to live in their apartments is another challenge. One that requires a specific approach. This is how Johan van den Bogert, project manager, ended up at Wiggers.
Fast turnaround time
Johan: "We were looking for a party that could supply ready-made window frame casing and windowsills. This helps to shorten the planning and limit inconvenience for residents. We came into contact with Wiggers through positive stories from colleagues. I presented our plans and drawings to Wiggers' account manager. We invested a lot of time together in thinking this through. Wiggers indicated that they could supply much more than the requested products. All sheathed, easy to install by fewer people on location, thus reducing costs. And all this with a fast turnaround time and an excellent result. This was exactly what Caspar de Haan was looking for for this project."
Delivered ready to install
Ultimately, our co-creators also supplied the tubes for bathrooms, living rooms and bedrooms, the ceiling finish in all entrances and three enormous tubes with inspection hatches. The products are all clearly packaged per room. This meant Caspar de Haan only needed two carpenters per room for the installation. Johan: "The collaboration was fantastic. Wiggers' employees do what they promise, act quickly and deliver beautiful products. Their approach also makes it extremely efficient. I will call them again for the next project."
